Default What year is best for me?

budget of 26k...i really want the rev up motor, but the oil consumption issue makes me wants to buy an 05...does anyone know the steps nissan took for the issue on the 06's..i would want something that is at least an "enthusiast". Im a girl and dont know how to drive stick, but i WILL learn and will be getting a manual so AT is out of the question! If you guys could buy again would anyone rather buy the 05 over the 06?

THANKS!

with 26k, you can get an 07 with a even better motor!

Get a 2004.5 or 05 and you'll have money left over to do the mods you want to do.

The internet is cold and impersonal. How about I fly to North Carolina this weekend and help you pick a 350Z?

For 26k I'm sure you'll be able to find at least an Enthusiast trim 2007 Z.

i have a 05 no problems, But maybe a 06 to get the new Xenon lights and the rear LEDS, Plus probably no problems at all as the 03-04. In general the Z is made very well for the price.

I LOL'd

I think your humor is wasted here, though, DV. You should start a comic strip about a snarky tech support guy or something.

You know, like Dilbert, only you should try to be funny.

2004.5 here. The only issue I had was some feathering, but I got it aligned and all seems to be well.

Hi 97obw!

It really depends on what trim level you want in your Z, and how many mods you want before deciding which Z to buy. Plus, as long as you buy an 05+ Z, you should be still under warranty if any issues arise (assuming the original owner bought it within 36 months ago and it doesn't have mileage that exceeds the warranty period).
