Default Another which year to buy post

I have been reading this forum for a while now to learn as much as I can before making my purchase, but this is my first post. I am going to test drive two used Z's this weekend and I would appreciate the advice of the more experienced Z owners on the forum.

Both Z's are Roadster Touring Black on Black, and being sold by individuals.

1. 2007 with 5,000 miles for $30,000
2. 2004 with 16,000 miles for $21,000 OBO

I want to test drive them both to compare and contrast the condition and handling.

My question is if both seem equal (I know it is ultimately up to me) but which would you choose?

Also, are there any specific questions for these years that I should ask the owner about?

Lastly, anything specific I should look for when inspecting the cars?

Thank you in advanced for your opinions, they are greatly appreciated.

Agreed - You have stumbled onto a big question.
To HR or not to HR. I would definitely lowball the
two of them. Take your time and do not agree
to buy on day one. Drive both and sleep on em.

Both are not equal. There is a $9,000 price difference.

Good point. Both are not equal in price. If I can afford both, and both are in great shape is it worth the extra $9,000 for the '07 over the '04? Did nissan make a lot of improvements to performance, handling, etc during those 3 years that would make spending the extra $9,000? Because while I could afford the extra $9,000, my wife and I could find other things to spend that money on as well.

I appreciate everyone's feedback.

Get both, problem solved

haha j/k ... I would low ball the 04 and see how the seller reacts .... $9000 is lotta money ....as tempting as the HR engines are, you gotta look at YOUR financial stand point ... Your financial stability > HR engine

A.K.
