Deal sounds decent but ONLY after you have a mechanic you pay & trust go through it.

i completely agree with you, would you say it would be smart to have a performance shop that deals with nothing but nissan a good place? the only bad thing is they charge a lot and have to wait a long time because they are booked! or does it not have to be to that great of a extent. i really dont know that many mechanics.

I'm not saying that all the 03 models has the issues I mentioned above, but if you just do a search on this forum, you'd be surprised that how many people have the same bad experience as I have... it's a risk that should put into consideration if you are really buying it... you might just get lucky, who knows

Dealer is probably best but a good shop that works on cars will do just fine. For example, there is a shop near me named "Made In Japan". Been taking my cars there for 20 years for service. When I bought used cars for my sons I took both to them to check out. They passed both & neither has had an issue. Both were Japanese cars.

So find a good shop...........

Dude I own an '04 with the same window motor problem, had to replace the rear axle bolts, etc. Def some early model issues but all in all well worth it. Especially at that price.

Yes on feathering....at least mostly. Generally a new set of tires and an alignment does the job.

You should look at current tires to see how bad it is. With 76,000 miles I'd think the current owner would have fixed it long ago.
