Is this a good deal? 2003 for 20K
I found a sunset lemans orange 350Z touring with 9K miles for 20K. Its been garage kept under a cover, and never seen rain. It has every option except nav, and has the burnt orange leather seats ( dunno what there really called ). He had the dealership put on a NISMO catback and CAI.
I offered KBB 19K, but the dude is firm on 20K. He's an older guy that owns 4 other really nice cars, so I figure its pretty much a brand new Z.

fyi I paid 22k for my 05 enthusiast with 8k miles on it.
with 20k you can get at least an 05 and maybe even an 06 if you wanna take a chance with the rev-up
Unless you're looking for the decked out model i'd say keep on looking

with the low mileage.............and if your a person that wants, or likes the idea of the used car being very close to new then yes, i think its a good deal.....
me personally i would find a 40K mileage Z for 15.5K-17K since we all know these are great reliable engines, cars.....plus i know what to look for when buying mechanically........
i say go for it and be sure to post pics when you get her...

I bought a 2003 Redline Touring w/ 3k miles on it last july(2007) for 20k...same story as yours...the guy never drove it, so to me its a little high due to the price depreciation these cars have had over the past year.
When I bought mine the Dealer trade in on it was 20k. now that's retail.
I think 18-19k would be better, but if you really like it, and plan to keep it until its paid off then go for it.
EDIT: mine's an AT FWIW

sounds good but i wouldn't buy an 03 with all of it's issues without at least 40k miles or so because by then any transmission problems which 03's and 04's were known for would have shown up already.

what are these transmission problems you speak of? My friend has a daily driven 03 that seems to shift pretty good. Is it only on ones that get raced alot??

It might be worth it, but that depends on how bad you want it... I suppose.
I ended up paying 21k (Dealer originally wanted 24.9k) for my 2006 base 6 speed with 12k miles and it is in great shape and it also came with some extras. On top of that, I got a really good trade in on my truck.

get this car. not that oldie 03..
even though its only 20k for 9000miles on the car, it is still 2003.. Let me emphasize 2003. The first model of 350z. I would reconsider.

i had to get my tranny replaced and i have an 03 luckily i havent had to deal with tire feathering or window issues so hopefully now that im 50k miles anythign that would have happened did lol. i would buy it and take the rest of ur money and get another warranty put on the car, you'd have to ask around on here for how much it is though. when i bought mine i was able to weasel out a 5 year bumper to bumper up to 100k mile warranty out of the dealership, of course i bought it with 24k so its only like 76k miles lol but its better than paying for it haha.
