Default thinking of buying any comments

i have a bmw z3 2.8 now and i am thinking of buying a 350z. i have a question though. what should i look for when buying this car as far problems. i have heard of the feathering issue and this frankly makes me want to keep my bimmer. i have read of the rattle on the right in the rear and the weak paint issues. my bimmer is 6 years old and the paint it gorgeous and the tires are fine. i just don't want to spend 26000+ for a piece of crap that i am going to always have in the shop!!! any comments are greatly appreciated. thanks

Here's some advice if you are ordering (if buying from the showroom then disregard):

Explicitly tell your dealer that you don't want to have the front plate holder affixed to the front bumper. They (many or most, but not all as heard on these boards) drill holes in the bumper that are each almost the size of dimes. There are other (better) places for you to affix your front plate should you be required to have one as per your state.

Good luck on your purchase.

Haven't had any problems yet (p'up in May, ordered in Feb), and hopefully won't either. You'll find many other "problem" stories if you scour the threads, but you can also wait to see if others post replies to this thread to make your job easier.
