Seems like someone just bought a brand new 08 Z base 6MT for ~$21,000.

***USAA pricing as of 1/7/2009

Coupe 6MT
Base: $21409
Enthusiast: $22684
Touring: $25579

If you would like a printout, just PM me your email address and your zip code.

These new incentives create INTENSE downward pressure on used cars. When a car is driven off the lot, it loses thousands of dollars in value. Base your offers for used cars off of the prices of brand new Zs that are listed here.

Hi Polo,

I've tried a few different zip codes - FL 32514, CA 94608, and TX 78738 - and all are showing me higher numbers, Target Prices only about $4500 off of an Enthusiast. This is in the Step 1 of the process, before you locate your dealer.

Are you seeing your lower numbers in the same step? If so, could you share the zip code you're using?

Thanks,
Chris

My zip is 08816. Someone once asked me to price out a Z from the Santa Monica area and his prices were similar to what I got for Central Jersey.

You could always go to any dealer and use the USAA pricing as a target price (or even $500 below USAA pricing).

I have USAA. How do you get this info?

Thanks - with TX today I got $26484 for a manual Enthusiast. With your zip I got $24184. I would guess there's more discount to be had at the (TX) dealers, but that defeats the purpose of the no-haggle service. Ah well.

True, as long as I have the right target to shoot for. Thanks again.

Login to the USAA site. Under Shopping & Discounts, select Car Buying Service. Then choose New Car (or Used, if you want), and then follow the steps.

You gotta love USAA. They do everything for me. File my taxes, make my money grow, insure me, and provide my loans, show me great places to buy cars. I love USAA.

+1. Can't beat the benefits of serving and the deals you get out of USAA. I'm 21 and I'm in my first professional year of pharmacy but I am also part of the NJ National Guard. State law makes it tuition free for Guard members so basically I'm getting my PharmD for free. Since I'm going for a professional degree, FAFSA considers you in grad school and thus you can get subsidized Federal Stafford loans while you're in school at a 0% APR. Basically, I'm maxing out my loans and putting it into USAA's 5.0% APR CD.

hey Polo, sent pm for 27612, willing to look up to 120 miles or so. Amex was looking like 23 for a base , was hoping for 21 or so, or 23 for enthusiast.

Thanks,
G
