When are they going to stop producing the 350z?
Thanks for the responses.
Yeah, one of my friends who works for an insurance company told me noto to go that route. Although I do live off ramen, easy-mac, and the so-called "food" they serve us at the college (its eitehr eat or dont eat), you dont know how big of a maniac I am: I would starve myself to save money to get one.
But I guess i have somewhat more sense then that, I think I'm better off waiting cause I want to be ready, not buying one while sitting on the edge.

I know exactly where you are at, as it wasn't too long ago (5 years now) that I was faced with the situation, except in my case I had bought the Z BEFORE I started college. Things didn't end too well for me, horribly in fact, so I am more than happy to help someone out so they don't end up like I did. Needless to say, I am not trying to tell you how to live and what decisions to make, just offering up what happened to me.

I actually did fairly well for my first year or so, but eventually it caught up to me after my credit card bills grew beyond manageability due to paying for food. I had 2 jobs, but it wasn't enough. I LOVE(D) my Z more than anything, but eventually being hungry and poor all of the time just wasn't worth it. When you start sacrificing regular meals for a material object, things have gotten out of hand.

Right, only Roadsters'll be in production, per CR magazine...Will the 37OZ continue the
tradition??? Time will tell. Personally, I don't like convertibles, so, that would force
me to go for the 37O...hmmm...$$$??? The GT-R is out of the question, for obvious
reasons!

Pretty much all my friends were concerned I'd do something like this. I even made a though out plan of 3 jobs with the wages and how much I would get. Out of a week, I would have had 4.5 hours to do homework, so sleep was not included. More-so I think I was reaching for a dream too early. I have a car now for college and theres no way I'm asking my parents for a 350z. I'd like to earn it myself one day.
man i will not be able to afford a 350z for a few damn years. i want a new one so badly. i am probably one of those people who will never be satisfied with a used z. why could i have been earlier!
Right now, if you can get an auto loan with a low APR, then get a new 08 350Z. Most likely, you and the majority of people, will not be approved for an auto loan, especially, for a sports car. Banks will just look at you and laugh, then they will stamp the "Denied" on your application.
