Leasing a new base 370 in 5 hours. HELP
You obviously know nothing about leasing vehicles. Depending on the car and the lease deal it can be more financially responsible to lease than to buy, especially if you don't keep your cars a long time.
Last spring my wife and I leased a 2008 Acura RDX for her. I did the math on leasing vs. buying over 3 years, and figuring in estimated depreciation it turned out that we would spend LESS money over the 3 years leasing the vehicle than we would over 3 years buying it on a 4 year loan. This is assuming that we sold it at the end of 3 years if we had bought it, and put the estimated sale value toward paying off the last year of the loan and subtracted the rest from our total monthly payments over the 3 years. It was STILL less to lease.
That all said. Both lease deals AND finance deals are SICK right now, so do the math and figure out what works for you. Don't bag on the OP about throwing money away because it makes you look stupid. Cars are NOT an investment 99% of them time. You are technically throwing money away with ANY car you buy or lease new.
