Looking at a z, is this price reasonable?
I'm in the process of getting a new car. I test drove a manual 07 Z with 13500 miles in perfect condition. It's a base model with no extras. After negotiating, the lowest they have offered me is 20800. Is this a good price? I haven't seen anything close to this price, especially for a 2007 with such low miles. I don't want to sit on it and have it disappear on me. Help..

There is no such thing as a "G" trim level. In your searches you need help figuring out trim levels, this should help: http://www.3 5 0 z-tech.com/zwiki/350Z. (Just remove the spaces inside the 350z)
I would think that in the NYC/Philadelphia metro areas there are plenty for sale so you should be able to find an '07 with at least some options for that price.

no more non-cruise, non vdc, xennon's etc............ all z33's 07 and up will have those.....
not a bad deal on an '07. not a great one, but not a bad one. if you really like it pull the trigger. but, if i were in your shoes, knowing the market and all, i'd beat the dealership up some more and get a better price. there's probobly at least a 1,500-2,500 more room there..... see if the dealer will give you an inventory list. this will show how long the z's been on there lot. if it's over 30 day's, they'll be more motivated (willing) to lower the price...

I believe that is what he is referring to when he said the trim was 'G'. That sticker came off a car on this ebay add which appears to be a base model.

20K seems very high to me for an 07 base. I paid $29k for my '08 Nismo with only 800 miles on it about 1.5 months ago. If I was to settle for a used 07 base, I would have expected something in the 17-18K range.

G41 is magnetic black.
Believe this is interior trim:
G - charcoal
K - frost

I went back today to negotiate and the car was sold for 20800, the price they offered me. After doing research I have come to realize that this wasn't the best of deals, although it wasn't bad as the car was in perfect shape inside and out, so I am not too upset. I went to another dealer and test drove an 05 with 27k, touring 6 speed, and they wanted 20k. After talking to a salesman I calculated that it wouldn't cost too much more to finance a new base 370 (05 is a little too old). The salesman said he could find me one for 30k. I also did additional research and found out that travelling out of my area (North Jersey, right outside NYC), new base Zs can be purchased for 28,800 to 29,500k. When the dealer contacts me tomorrow I am going to see if the 30k is negotiable and I am going to show him the internet ads for these 28-29k Zs. Hopefully something will come of this, as financing a new car will provide me with a lower interest rate and a comparable monthly payment to a used Z in the low 20k range.

Be patient and shop around, work on your negotiating skills, edmunds.com has a couple of good articles on that and it gives you an idea on what they are selling for. Figure out what payment your comfortable with and stick to your guns and don't let the salesman decide what your payment is. You'll enjoy the car a whole lot more when your payment is where you want it and it's not a burden on you. Good Luck and take advantage of the current economic situation
