And how much did it cost you to rebuild that entire thing?

I'd say it's only worth it if you don't really ever plan on reselling the vehicle, keeping it for LONG terms. Being mechanically incline to able to fix things your self.

too be honest it depends on how bad the car is messed up..i know about this salvage stuff and all...i was jus at a auction and saw a 06 z convertible with a dent in between the passenger side door and fender which was not very serious at all imo..it went 7.5k which is stupid cheap..it all depends on what you could live with some cars are destoyed and some are not..labor and parts is a hard question because u can find used stuff and its jus replace and then paint...and of course u people u know in the automotive industry that can give u a hand like a friend... its not a real big deal to me like i said it all depends on the previous damage done to the car and then the worked performed on it..

all the cars i drove are salavage title, there are millions of cars that were salvaged but you can pick it up and fix it for a few thousands. Check out copart.com all 95% of cars are salvage and a lot of them are very much rebuildable...

As long as the buyer knows what they are getting into it is great. The problem comes with buyers who think that a repaired salvage title car is the same as one with a clean title. The car may be just as good, but they may be in a rude shock when they try to insure or sell it.
