Default PPI in Southern California and extended warranty

Hey everybody,

I'm a new member here and I've been wanting to get a Z for a long time now. I hadn't since I didn't really have the funds. Now I have enough cash to get a used one.

I recently saw a deal for a 2006 350Z that has 33K for $13,500. I think this is a good price, however, I'm not really that experienced with cars. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a place that does a good PPI?

Also, somebody suggested to go with Fidelity for my extended warranty. However, I researched in the forums and it seems that Fidelity will fight tooth and nail to approve claims. Does anybody have any other suggestions for companies that provide extended warranty?

Did you get a PPI done with it? How about extended warranty?

A 2006 has a 60 month power train warranty. Why buy another?

Ahh, you're right. I just checked the carfax for the car I want and it says the car was first purchased on 2/15/06. So I guess I'd buy extended warranty for after 2/15/11.
