Buying a new 2008 350z in 2011 ?
What if a guy (me) wants to buy a brand new 2008-2009 350z next summer 2011.
I want to buy one because i kind of like it better than the 370Z and i know you'll tell me go for the 370Z it's newer, more refined but the look doesn't grow on me like the 350Z did. My wife wants me to buy the newer 370Z but i'm stuck on the 350Z. Would that be a mistake to buy a 350Z. I could get a grand touring auto. for a lot less than a 370Z with the sport package.
There's still new 350Z around that are seating in dealerships with no homes to go to since we got an economic crisis and then Nissan came up with a new model, any bad experiences from you guys from doing the same kind of purchase.Car sitting around for a few years probably not so good ?
Thanks !

You have been jacking around for 15 months. Lets get with the program here.
EDIT: Never mind. You are from Canada.

A few months back our dealer had a "new" 2008 NISMO 350Z. They wanted $25k for it. They're out there and you should be able to steal them. I was recently shopping for an 2007-2009 convertible, and did find two "new" ones as well. Too bad the dealers were dreaming because they still wanted $36k (sticker ~$45k).

The chance of finding a brand new 08 on the lot next year is about the same as winning a lottery. I havent seen a new 350z on a lot in quite awhile already I have never seen any model of new vehicle sitting on the lot over 2 years after it production was stopped not even pick ups and there are 10x as many of them produced as 350Zs.

Any issues that the 370s have experienced have since been worked out (the oil temp issue is what comes to my mind). If you got the cash, and you like how the 370 looks, getting a new 370 is much better than a used 350.

doubt you will find a new one, BUT I just bought a 2007 triple black touring roadster with only 5k miles.. basically new and extended the bumper to bumper til may of 2014.. as stated earlier find a used one with low miles.

There is always a possibility that you can find a brand new 350. Just how I wanted to find a brand new GReddy EvoTT exhaust and everybody told me I would NEVER find one brand new. Well, I found a guy selling one on CL sitting in his basement brand new in the box.
I have high hopes...you should be able too. If not, I bet you could find one with 5K miles or less!

Did you find it on autotrader or cars.com? I had been looking at 07/08 black ZRs for awhile, so am curious if the one you got was one of them. I thought maybe it was this one, but the mileage is lower:
