Default Asking price?? Help quick!

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

So I went and test drove this car yesterday. It seems to be in pristine condition and although I wouldn't have put in all the electronics, they are pretty cool and convenient. On KBB, it says this car is worth a little over 21k however if I hadn't said I was interested, he was going to sell it to the dealership (trade-in is about 17k) because this car has to go due to the fact that he's moving to Korea for the military. We're bringing it to my mechanic today to make sure everything checks out. So, what do you guys think I should start out offering/pay for the car in the end? THANKS

Why did you not make an offer after you drove the car?

2007 has several known problems:

a. Minor transmission related to the clutch slave cylinder.

b. Front suspension. Look at the inside of the front tires.

maybe a non touring roadster with more miles and an 06 because of the possibloe oil consumption... I bought an 07 zr (triple black) touring with 5k miles, 6spd with bumper to bumper extended to may 2014... can't buy an 07 zr touring with decent miles that cheap. I would look for a touring if you get a roadster... heated seats a must!

Why? Find out what the inservice date is... you 36 months bumper to bumper from in service date, and if its under 3 yrs 36k miles you can extend the bumper to bumper (new car nissan gold preferred ) warranty for a little over a grand... make an offer if dealer is giving him 17 offer him 18k and call it a day.

heated seats in ga?touring isnt worth the extra cash for a bose stereo and heated seats.i put better quality leather seats in and call it a day.oil concern is only with the 6sp.extended warrenties are a waste of cash.if you are at least a little machanicly inclined you will be fine.

+1 on the tire feathering. Mine had it going on when I bought it. Knocked a good 1,000 off the asking price just for that (new tires/alignment)
