I am new to 350Z, please advice..
Hello everyone
I have been shopping around for the last month and this ad come across.
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/1749209130.html
I have never bought a used car before, so I would love to hear some advice from the experts (YOU)..
This is a 2007 350Z and it only has 12k mileage on it, i can probably ask for 18k for the car. But here is my questions...
1) This is worth it?
2) what model is this 350Z... I really like the brambo breaks, it looks sexy... does those breaks only come with the GT model of 350Z?
3) i have done some research about 350Z and oil consumption is a known issue, will i be running into this problem on a 2007 350Z?
4) i have never bought a used card before, what are some of the critical things i need to make sure before i purchase this? I don't want to spend my money on a lemon car.
Thanks in advance!!

if the owner isn't hiding any mechanical problems, you should hop on that deal, that car looks clean..make sure to have it checked out by a mechanic or someone you know and trust..the oil consumption problem only deals with the '06 models..what you need to look out for is the clutch slave, ask the owner if he got it fixed because it was on recall for many of the '07 models..check the tire wear because tires can go pretty quickly with the Z, if they look warn, that's a good way to get the owner to lower the price..good luck!

No oil consumption issues with the '07. The oil consumption issue was with the '06 manual models. The '07 is the HR engine.
It's the GT model.
And yes, the Brembo brakes are nice.

And I have never bought a used card before either so I don't really know what to tell you. Nor do I know how a used card ties into this situation.
