Default Buyer Beware-- Houston 07 Z FS

Browsing craigs for misc Z parts and ran into this ad for an 07 Enthusiast.

1.)its a BASE model not enthusiast
2)it has ugly as sin old z rims not 07 rims
3) pre 06 headlights-swapped
4)pre 06 tailights-swapped

Bottom line car is not worth the 19.9k price and has been raped of its true identity.

OP - you are surprised by this, why? We see this kind of confusion almost daily. Dealers use a boilerplate listing for the Z so this is almost a given.

Since the trim isn't in the VIN, there's no way for a non-Nissan dealer to tell what anything is and most people don't know what model has what in which year.

Wow, that guy is smart. Probably made $2k selling those parts before trading his car in and they probably were none the wiser.

if I was selling an HR I would do the same. like dk said, probably made around 2k and the dealer probably didn't know any better.

no one knows **** about cars. I always know more about the trim levels and options of cars when I speak to car salesmen. they are worthless.
