Hello, Ive been a member on this forum for a while but recently lost my last car so it opened up my income to start saving for my 350. I was looking at buying a 07-08 as soon as I get enough money saved up and was wondering how good are the CD009 transmissions??? I wanted to buy a manual and this would also be my first one but I keep reading about people having problems with the syncros and people getting alot of noise from these transmissions. Seeing as I will be learning how to drive a manual( have some experience but only on motorcycles) will I be replacing a transmission buying this car????

 

The tranny in the later models will be fine, however they are on the louder side of the OEM market. Not to say a stock one will be loud and unbearable just saying if you hear a slight noise in it the dealer will tell you that's the way they run.
