Do you guys advise waiting?
I have been looking around for the perfect Z to buy for a couple of months now, now i was about to pay 27k for an 07 touring but i made a post and you guys advised against it and i listened, and am very thankful for that. I received a lot of comments saying if i was willing to spend that much i should save up for a 370z. The most my budget allows me at this moment is 30k. So now my question is what are the chances that the 09 or 2010 370z's prices will drop when the new year comes around? do you guys think the dealers will sell them for cheaper or what or will the prices remain the same? If i could buy one for 28k including taxes i would be all over that, even 30k including taxes. Just want to hear your guys opinions, if not ill just buy an low mileage 08 350.
Same shoes as you sir,
What I decided to do was get a low mileage 08 350z - as I test drove both back to back and felt little improvement in straight line acceleration, with that trait being what I want out of this car.
You can pick up a touring or enthusiast 08 with low mileage (<25,000 miles) for 18-20k.
In addition if you are paying cash your negotiating power goes up and you might even be able to get one cheaper!
with the 10k saved you can either mod the 350 or just put away the 10k in a high yielding account and not take a 20% depreciation hit on a new or used 370z
And to be honest 350>370 in styling department

You can always bargain for a 370Z no matter 2010 or 2011. You may get a better price on a 2010 IF the 2011 is on the lot.

How about a used 370Z for $28,097?

I think i am going to wait it out then, see if i can pick up a 370z if the prices drop, if not gonna pick up an 07/08. Thing is when you guys say don't spend more than 20k for a low mileage 07/08...is that including taxes or what?? cause all the dealers where i live (NY) are asking 24k at least lol...without taxes. I can't buy from a private seller because then i have to take a loan from the bank and the interest rates are like 13-14%
so gotta buy from a dealer.

so gotta buy from a dealer.I looked at a 2009 sport last december with 8k miles for $27,999.
Your preference for options will be key in getting an affordable 370 also. Touring models are going for much more than base, obviously. Personally, after test driving 5 or 6 now, I'd like a base with sport package.
anyways, autotrader has 17 listed within 200 miles of me (central mass) for under 30k.
If you aren't super picky about miles, I found a 2009 Sport with 25k miles.
