Default Finally! After looking for months I have found a Z..what do you think?

I have finally found the Z I have been looking for! I am going to drive 11 hours to go get it next Saturday. Everything is almost finalized(with the loan). I think I am getting an awesome deal for this Z, but I want to hear if anyone thinks differently.

There are now 56,000K on the car, but it is still under warranty. Also, the stock tired had dry-rotted so he just unmounted the rims and is giving me those as well. He is also throwing in a NISMO CAI new in box he never got to install. Also, if anyone can run this guys carfax that would be great. What do you think!?

Appears well cared for. Love the white interior.

NOTE: What you do NOT see is a close up photo of the front bumper. With 52,500 miles expect some road wear.

Hi Kamran, from the pictures and description that seems to be a great car in superb condition. I also have a 2004 Touring Roadster that has been my daily driver since new. It’s been super reliable with no issues at all.

My original top still in good condition, but after 7 – 8 years any convertible top may start to deteriorate. Check around all four corners of the rear window for stress fraying in the fabric and also just below the rear seam (from inside the car) for pinholes and tearing. These are the parts of the top that are most stressed when the top is lowered. Surprisingly most of the wear & tear happens when the top is folded. The top will last longer if you don’t leave it lowered for weeks at a time.

The optional Nissan 18 inch chrome wheels have been very problematic. Very high numbers of them have been cracking on the spokes. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has opened a formal file on this problem as there have been some bad accidents caused by these chromed wheels breaking. Check all the spokes on all four wheels; chances are that you will find at least one spoke with a crack starting (applies only to the chrome wheels). Google this problem for more info. or ask here for some background.

Price seams pretty reasonable and it appears to be in good condition from the pictures.

Good point. Not certain if Nissan is replacing these wheels free of charge.
