We have an 07' GT Roadster as well. Although it has a few more miles, I would be happy getting $21k for it. You will need to find A) a Z enthusiast who wants a ZR, and B) someone who appreciates the stereo work to even get close to that price, and I think that will be a challenge. That's my opinion. I'd pull out what you can, and ask something closer to $20k.

Closer to 21-22.....aftermarket mods do not ad value to an automobile....unless you find some "enthusiast" who feels they have to buy it.

thanks for the heads up. When I look on KBB it values the car at 26500 for a private sale in San Diego, CA. It says that a dealer trade-in would be about 24000.

I guess the economy doesnt really help much here. I will keep me price for a bit and see if anyone responds and go from there.

I definitely think that this is more an enthusiast car for someone that appreciates 350z's and import cars.

I love it but just want something a little bigger possible (Jeep Wrangler Sahara is my 1st option).

Bring it to your local Nissan dealership and see what they'd give you for it on the spot. No trade-in, no promise of buying a car from them, just "here's is my car, how much will you give me for it to put it on your lot?" similar to what you could (should?) do at CarMax. At least you'll get a barometer for "true" trade-in.

Assuming you have navigation, I'm getting a private party value (edmunds.com true market value) of $23k, and a trade-in of $20k. I'll bet they offer $17k, $18k max. I'm seeing certified, dealer retail at $26.8k. As much as I want the car to have high value, I'll stick with my suggestion of ~$21k, sadly.

I have an 07 enth. for sale and the dealer is offering me 14k for it. it has 23k miles, but that doesntreally matter. It's a tough marker out there.

Thanks for all the info and feedback. I am going to take my car to a Nissan dealership near where I live and see how much they offer. That would be a good starting point.

Getting exactly what I am asking is not going to happen. I understand that. I just wanted to have a number that was a starting point for discussion.

My GT Roadster was transformed into a show car prior to me buying it. It was used in the Cross Fire Audio booth for SEMA and CES. Hence, it doesnt look like the factory version.

Also, that version isnt factory since it has the Nismo wheels on it. Dont believe that these come OEM with the GT Roadster.

Thanks!

Good luck!

Oh, and that's why I said that's how the GT-R should have come from the factory! I just put those on over the weekend.
