What would you offer for this car on eBay? The seller is local to me so I am planning on contacting him outside of the auction.

6 owners? wow. I'd offer 10,500, and go from there. I usually see high millage 03's go for around 12k. This one looks well taken care of though, but thats hard to believe for a car thats 8 years old and 6 owners.

This would concern me also. This car has 7 titles in 8 years. No one keeps it for more than 14,000 miles. Wonder why?

$12K sounds a bit high, even though it's well equipped and even $10.5K might be high, given the 6 (!) owners. I got an estimate of $11,336 to $14,710 (posted at https://my350z.com/forum/buying-leas...automatic.html) for my 04 Enthusiast 5AT almost 53K miles, which obviously is much less well equipped (no nav, no VDC, no leather and only the standard crap stereo).
By browsing ads on Craig's list in my area and Ebay Motors completed auctions, I'm guessing that I won't even get $14K and will be at the lower end of that range, if I decide to sell.
I just looked at the Carfax for the car.The first owner had it from 2003 to 2006. After that it was a leased vehicle in New York. Until it sold at auction and was brought to Indiana. Would the fact that it was leased explain the number of owners?

The lease makes little sense. Who leases a used car? The key here is the number of times that the Z has changed hands. Besides:
Are you willing to bid $8,500 for a vehicle sight unseen?
This is a reserve auction. The reserve may be $9,400, $10,400, $11,400. Only way to test the reserve price is to bid. And I see no bids.
I messaged the seller. He is only about 30 miles from my house. And has the car for sale locally as well. I am hoping to make time to go look at it this upcoming week in person.
