Default Dealer Markups over MSRP

I think a nice database of Dealer Markups would be a nice my350z community endeavor. Also it wouldn't hurt to have something organized for pre-order cancels.

This would be a nice addition to the site for all those that are seeing Z's now and only finding out the fun of not being a pre-order.

I talked to my sales guy today - after getting a call from a couple friends telling me about a fire they had at my local Nissan, thankfully they're freak'n late on my delivery (otherwise it would have been there for the fire and my Le Mans Sunset would have been Charcoal Black). He informs me of 2 pre-orders that backed out for their November. Also said they're keeping them at MSRP. But after the pre-orders, the ones coming in will be $2,000 over MSRP. This is Lancaster Nissan in Lancaster, PA. So those in Lancaster you want one go talk to Lee.

Before any gripes about the MSRP+, Our wonderful country is the land of opportunity, supply and demand. It's just business.

I bet J will add something like that when the site gets revamped.

Default Just to correct you Panthrd

I don't know what kind of deal you got. But as far as I know Lancaster Nissan is not selling Z's at MSRP. They include a mandatory Paint protections, undercoating and wheel nut package that sets you back about $600. I told them I did not want them touching my New Car... they said the price of those options would be included regardless of whether they did the work or not. LANCASTER NISSAN SUCKS... at least they did for me. Again, I don't know what kind of deal you got. As far as the $600 it's chump change, if they are willing to loose customers over it and get bad publicity it's their choice.
