Default How does this Z look?

I've been registered on this forum for a grand total of about 5 minutes. I have owned a Hyundai Tiburon for almost a year and have been an active member of that forum/community for quite a bit. Looking to switch over to the dark side here and this is the Z I'm looking at right now. What do you guys think? I've got a couple others I'm looking at too if you want to see the other links. Thanks ahead of time!

If all that tint comes off it may have potential. Seems overpriced though...Ive heard of cars with half the mileage selling close to that price in private sales. Do you have a set budget?

Yes, 12-13k is my maximum. I have 10k cash and will trade in the Tiburon, could probably get about 2k for the Tib from a dealer maybe 3k.

Here's another one I'm looking at. Can anybody tell me what trim this is? I'm thinking Grand Touring but I'm sure I could be way off

I like this one much better. Black suits the Z best IMO. Also has the upgraded headlights/tail lights. Will this be garaged though? Black paint will take a beating if you park it outside exclusively.

Appears to be a GT by looking at the seats.

edit just a regular touring, not a gt.

No, not garaged. And in the Texas heat (pushing 105 daily right now) it is definitely an issue, but not something that cant be tolerated after countless years of dealing with it. 0% tint and windshield liners make the inside nice and cool, almost unnoticeable after just a couple hours.

Its the maintenance involved in a black car you have to worry about. Wax often and keep a bottle of detail spray in the glove box for those bird shet and sap. Avoid automatic car washes, and coin ops with the big broom scrubber. 2-bucket method only. If youre not overly **** about your paint then get black, otherwise dont do it or youll go insane.

Id definitely look at a few more and keep options open. They more stock the better i say.

Search "2006 Oil consumption"

First one isnt bad, i would shoot for $11k or less
Wonder why it says brand new seats, followed by seats torn from years of wear .....

Can you afford to maintain a 350Z with 96,000 miles?

I used to enjoy “What model is this?” until I found this reference:

Now everyone can figure it out.

the 06 is much better looking and has better upgrades (heads, tails, bumper, wheels, interior etc...) but as another mentioned the 6mt '06 will have oil consumption... not a matter of if but when get an automatic '06

If I were you I'd save some more money and get an 07+

Grand Touring has Brembo brakes. This does not. It is a Touring.

I don't like the car.Keep searching. There are better options out there.
Don't hurry on this purchase. You will be sorry.
Thought the spec about "brand new " seats was pretty funny as the seats shown&
comments showed them tore up.Talkin about the same car?

The black 06 is the better choice of the two.Still, you should try for a lower price.
Another thing,it appears to be stock.Someone has not messed around with it.
I would not be too concerned on the mileage if its been well maintained.
Nothing better than a black car!
An extra, and possibly worth the asking price are the Nike floor mats!

id pass on both. first one looks like any mod was done very cheaply and the drivers seat is yellow. the second one is an 06... just stay away from 06

Well here's the deal. I've been watching 350z's in DFW for a few months now, those are the cheapest deals I can find, I haven't seen an 05 under 14k or a 06 under 15k in months. Although there are a good amount of 03 or 04s I'm not too willing to buy a car that old, I really would prefer a 05 or 06 but the 07/08 is out of my near-future price range. Here's the best 03 I've found.
