Depends on how well it's been taken cared of. Does it matter to you the number of previous owners? Maintenance records? Prior accidents? Most used cars I see have been beat to chit, but chit to me may be gold to others.

not sure if carfax is reliable...it shows 2 owners for this car and no accident involved.

My car I had traded in on the z had 3 accidents... None of them were on the carfax and all went through insurance.

Totaling over the price of the car was new(30k) for all 3 combined.

This is what I use to verify refinishes. A simple small magnet will work as well. They have magnetic pens specifically used to check paint thickness, about 20 bucks.

I would pass. I paid 14K for my 2004 touring with 30,000 miles.

When looking I would steer clear of one that's been modded. Also if it has multiple owners like 4 or 5 there's a reason why.

Man the price different between states amazes me... Local dealers around me try selling 04's with 70k miles for 16k and they get away with it. That price would be considered a steal over here, it's what I got my 03 touring Z for at 107k miles

Good call. 80,000 miles for 12k is too much -- keep searching.

Smart idea researching here first! Wish I did that! You would still be getting a better deal than me but I wouldnt for that price now that I am educated...

People need to remember prices vary throughout the country...Up here car prices are a bit higher than the U.S. HR's still going for low 20k while 03-06 mostly going for 13k-18k

It sucks.
