Default 2008 350Z Nismo

WTB 350Z NISMO

Hi just joined the forum, my name should probably be "nismo-wannabe-dude" as I am just now searching for a z......

Test drove a 2008 CPO Nismo at the dealer last week, and I am sold that a 350Z Nismo will be my next car. Reminded me of my last 2 seat toy, a 94 MR2 Turbo in cherry condition that I drove for 5 years and sold in 2010 (I still click over to the MR2 forum occasionally to look at the pics of my old ride....

I like the car so much in fact, that I think it will be something I keep for many years, and so I am passing on the dealers car I test drove, even though it is very clean, because it has almost 50k miles, and I would really like to find one with half that mileage (I know they are out there, there are several I have found on the internet, just none in the color I want, darn it!)

Looking for 2008 (but would consider clean low mileage 2007) NISMO, ideally 20k miles or under, but if extra clean and cared for maybe 30k miles. 1st color choice by far is BLACK, with WHITE being a not-so-distant 2nd choice. Stock, unmodified. clean title/ carfax. nonsmoker.

Anybody with a car that fits that bill who is looking to sell, or know anybody who does, let me know! Not asking for anybody to research the internet for me, I have been and continue to do so, but I thought it couldn't hurt to put a post on this forum!

Thanks!

Have you done a search on the usual sites...Auto Trader etc?
More than likely you may not find your Nismo in Vegas.I'd think
a few would show up for sale in CA.

checking daily, also checking Carmax, and Craigslist (Craigslist is a PIA because you have to search each city individually)

there are several cars available, even a couple that appear almost brand new in other parts of the country, there are 2 red ones, in NY with under 3k miles, and in Arkansas with under 9k miles with clean Carfax, but not a big fan of the red, with grey trimmed Nismo ground effects kit....) Just having a hard time finding a low mileage black car. There is one in Phoenix that showed up on Craigslist, and the used car dealer posted the carfax, but the carfax shows that Nissan replaced the entire transmission at under 10k miles, no thanks on that car....

a nice one in the SF bay area was on Craigslist, I called on Saturday to find out it had literally been sold 2 hours before I called!

keep searching man you will find your unicorn!

I found my 07 with only 8k miles a few weeks ago for a great price.

the nismo has the HR motor so it will be on par wit the 370 at a much lower price point.

Thanks, this one is perfectly stock and so un-molested that it still has the original set of factory tires on it - the backs are starting to look a bit worn though.......

That's super low mileage. How much did it cost? I rare ever see the 350z nismo version on the road.

You are NEVER too old for a NISMO.

the good news is that there is no sales tax on private party car sales when you register in Nevada. They are definitely rare. I see several 350z's every day on the road or in parking lots. I've only seen 2 Nismo's on the road in the last month.
super rare never seen one here in fl in 5 years
