Will I fit?
Hi there, so im pretty fat 5'9 and around 370 lbs. I hope to buy myself a 2005 or newer Nissan 350z about a year from now. I'm just wondering will I be able to fit? I have no problem fitting in a 2015 Subaru WRX STI and I currently drive a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V and fit with no problems. Thanks

Im going to assume No? You could have just said no and left it at that. Obviously I know I'm fat why else would I be asking... I have no problem fitting in most cars. I have a weird body shape. You wouldn't look at me and be like "That guy weighs like 400 pounds" most of my size is in my thighs. I have no problem fitting in bucket seats I just need enough room from the seat to the bottom of the steering wheel so that my legs dont touch the wheel.

If you have long arms and legs and can drive with the seat in maximum reclined and rear position, you should fit.
That being said, I think you might find the low seat height taxing on your knees when it comes to getting in and out of the car. Because it is a 2-door it makes it even tougher to get in and out of especially if in a tight parking space.

Sorry dude. Not necessarily laughing at you or the fact that you're "fat". It's just these days, the forum has been seeing some interesting threads started.
That being said, I've seen some big guys drive, own, and track the Z. Go find one for sale near you and try it out. That's the only way you're going to find out for sure.

Unfortunately I live basically in the middle of nowhere. The nearest 350z for sale is over 700 KMs away (434 Miles) I can test drive the one that im looking to buy but it would kind of suck to drive 700 kms and not fit lol

I'm 6'6" and 350#s I fit comfortably. the only problem is my left thigh sits over the bolster on the driver side causing a bit of extra ware on the seat. im assuming you would have the same issue only a bit worse. you would be more comfy if you got and after market seat that wasn't "racing inspired" (no bolsters)other then that as long as you don't have problems with your knees (its low) you should be fine.

Sweet mother Teresa on the hood of a Mercedes Benz......If I were you I would spend that money towards a gym membership and some healthy food instead of a car. I don't wanna sound like a d!ck but that can't be very healthy.
I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs. and I fit perfectly but not much wiggle room for any "cockpit activities". Someone nearly 100lbs. heavier than me with a wider frame because they are shorter definitely will not fit and if they do they won't be comfortable or very safe since the belly might be touching the steering wheel and blocking the air bags. If you get into an accident your fcked.

i'm 5'9" 300, 2xl, 38" waiste athletic build and have been labeled a "big boy" my whole life, and I feel that if I threw another 40lbs on i'd be at the limit of the stock seat. the hip and leg bulsters are desgned to keep one from moving side to side. the kindey bulster the same but have a little bit more wiggle room...
honestly if you can find an evo, get that... not that the seat has a ton of more room, but the EVO is fat people friendly while the sti's and Z's not so much... I do have a friend with a newer camero at 420lbs and he fits fine in that. good luck.

I was going to flame the sh*t out of this, but you've actually posted a legitimate, albeit uncommon, concern.
I don't think it would be very comfortable, but what you find comfortable, I may find horrible. 700km is a long way, but make a week/weekend trip out of it. Don't go just for the sake of looking at a car. Enjoy the drive down, that way it isn't a waste if you don't end up getting the car; and if you get it, enjoy the ride home.

I'm 6'4" and I just weighed in at 305 this morning after my daily poops.
I've driven my car for 18 hours straight before. I've put 60k miles on her and I still love her to this day.
I've also gotten road head in my Z. So it can be done.
I can drive a Miata but the steering wheel drags on my things and I can't get my foot off the clutch once I let it out. I can get into a S2k but I can't get my feet out from behind the pedals.
When my buddy get his RX7 running again I get to see how well I fit in it.
