If you had a shop do all your work then sure... 20k in a z is ridiculous... It better be burning tires in every gear... No I don't have a boosted z but I have a parts list and logical rational out look on what it would take... If you spent 20k show the parts list... I'm not including wheels suspension and lsd
first of all, 20k was for parts list no labor. im a man i do my own work. secondly, little things adds up quick, 1k for the clutch, 500 for the flywheel, 2k for the echaust, few hundreds for gauges, next thing you know, youve already spend 5k+ getting ready for the damn turbo WITHOUT the turbo. then you got the problem of not putting the power to the ground.
500 for sway bars, 2k for coil overs, few hundreds for cambers. bam another few k's wasted. then look at that up rev license fee is another 500, few pulls on the dyno for another few hundreds, tuning cost, bam another few k's.
talk to me about how people dropping big buck on a build are noobs again? idk about you, but im no honda boy. i build my car, i build it right. i dont use cheap ebay kits and my turbo isnt the size of a shift **** pushing 50 psi.
edit: factor in parts that can and will brakes, a few knick knacks here and there to get the car running smoothly. so i can only assume you have never built a car. when your building a car, youll quickly learn that there a parts you need/need to upgrade, that was in your original plans. and all these parts adds up.
sure there are budget builds, but then again there are also highend builds that cost well into the 50ks+

Not like the op is going to take any of this into consideration lol... We are all wasting our time on people that come in post about topics that have been covered 50 times.... I'm on here cause I'm bored... And no one post anything new... Not allot parts for sale either..sucks

Wonder what happened to op...
He's the one we got our pitchforks out for and he never showed up... You cant have all this angry testosterone and not expect it to go somewhere. But it should've been at the real noob, not each other... So like what was said, it was inevitable...
