Default Soon to be new owner!

Hello guys I'm new here and i'm in a market for a 08 350z nismo. I found one for 20500, out the door will be around 22500 with 52k miles on it. I went to check it out yesterday and It seem like it has been taken great care of by the previous owner. Do you guys think it's worth it?

Price varies by region, but that doesn't sound like a bad deal. Any pics you can post? Is the car 100% stock? Are you sure it's really a Nismo?

Looks nice. Always offer less. Maybe try $20K out the door? I spent almost the entire day at the dealership when I bought my '08, and they finally closed me at my initial off at 8:30PM. Bring a friend, too, so you can play good cop/bad cop.

Seems like a decent deal for a dealership. Offer them $20k OTD and see what happens.

Welcome.
It doesn't sound bad, that's what most go for with that many miles.

Mine is Carbon Silver, wanted San Marino Blue or Nogaro Red. My BMW is metallic black, and it's beautiful with fresh wax, but a b!tch to keep clean.

Nismo will be worth it, though. Good luck with the deal.

so i offered them 21000 OTD but they wouldn't go any lower than 22000 because they said they won't make any profit out of it lol. i think i should just take it for 22k... decision decision

I take a pretty hard line with car dealers because I know there's always another car and they're always making money on the cars for sale. They auction off the dogs, and we know that didn't pay $22k to whoever traded in that car. But, you have to do what's best for your situation, so good luck with your decision.

Do you want it more than they want to sell it? Whoever wants it more has less power.

After buying a few cars, i learn that i can always walk away from a deal im not 100% happy with. These arent necessity, however, sometime the saleman need to sell for less than the want for a smaller commission to pay bills.

It a game of how bad who wants what.

Is this the one for sale in Napa, CA?
I added this to my Nismo's For sale thread on the 6th, it was listed for $23k. Looks like they're trying to get it out the door. The price seems to be in line with the others I'm tracking with similar mileage. $18.9k w/ 49k miles and $19.9k w/ 51k miles.

Dealers are trained to say we are not making money... I'd offer even less
