Nissan is not offering 0 percent financing for Z's at the moment, and I doubt they ever will.

Sorry. I didn't know the post worked the first time. I kept getting errors from the website. Does the search button work for any of you?

I know Nissan doesn't "offer" 0% financing for the Z. I'm asking if anyone got 0 %APR from another source, like a bank or an auto loan company. And Nissan doesn't give out loans; a bank or company offers financing through the dealer. Anyone get a better financing deal on their own, instead of going through the dealer?

Err... good luck. I seriously doubt you'll be able to get an auto loan from anyone at this time for even 1% APR. 0% that some automakers do or 0.9% that Nissan does on some of its cars are usually incentives to get people to buy their cars. Banks don't sell and make cars so there's no reason for them to offer such a rate.

Do a quick search on bankrate.com to see what the lowest you can find is. According to them the current avg. rate on 36 month car loan is 4.87%. I got a 3.29% loan from my credit union back before labor day last year.

0%!?!? That is unheard of for autos. And the only way they would do something is if your credit was through the roof.. and somebody who has that good of credit and chasflow.. would never buy the cars they offer at 0%. Anything from 3.5 to 4.0 is VERY good. Good luck.. but your wasting your time even thinking you can get around 0%

Don't worry about chaofun, this board has been very flakey lately. Some people just like to pounce on anybody that does something out of the norm without thinking there could be a reason. The system is so flakey that it's hard to tell that your posts actually went through. I've done it too.

I got 0% APR or 0 months, I paid cash. The automaker is the only one who would give 0% APR as banks are in the business to make money. The APR is where they make the most money.
