the place that gave me that figure is buena park nissan. I've been dealing with him for about a week now and today I called him and said if you can get me the Z with all the options from aero package to cargo mats (everything except the navi) for 29000, i'll buy it 2morrow and he said sure... and i was like **** should i have given him a lower figure to work with, i dunno... everyone's feedback would be most appreciated, thanks guys and gurrr's
I paid like 29something OTD or my Enthu with all the options (you cant get Nav on them as far as I know).
So 29k flat OTD would be a good deal to me....
If its the right color and has the stuff on it you want then it sounds good.
I had to have Superblack and would have paid a little more to get it, but I was glad to find one with side air bags etc so I didnt have to wait around....

Sounds like a decent price; close to MSRP. You will get 75 responses telling you can do better which may be true. But if your getting the model you want in the color you want at the time you want, i'd go for it.
$29k is a good OTD price on an Enthusiast. And like Masterfulks said, you can't get Navi on it. And even if you could, at $29,000 (even before TT&L) it's like they'd be giving you the Navi for free.

Ok, how do you get $29k out the door w/ an enthusiast w/ all the options? I've done my homework and the Invoice on an enthusiast w/ all the options is $28,004 inlcuding the destination charge. Tax in a 5% state which most places aren't would then be $1400 (tax in CA is 7.25% + county tax which is .5 to 1.0% in all of SoCal). Tag and title is probably another $200 or so on the low side, so that's $29,600 assuming they don't charge you any dealer fees. The dealer holdback (lets assume 3%) on a $28k vehicle is only $840. So basically for an out the door price of $29k, you'd have to get them to make a deferred $300 or so on a $28k vehicle.
I cannot possibly imagine buying an Enthusiast for $29k out the door w/o one of the following:
1. You are in a zero income tax state.
2. You are buying through the Nissan friends and family program.
3. You are a Nissan employee.
4. You are getting jacked on a trade in.
5. You are getting jacked on financing.
Even if I use the Invoice - the 3% holdback, no dealer fees, tag and title of $200 (which I know is way way too low for California) and the minimun 7.25% tax in california I get a total of $29,337 out the door. That's basically the bare minimum possible for a dealer to sell it to you out the door and not lose money.
I just typed in a Zip code I had in So. Cal and did up a www.edmunds.com fair market value report for a manual enthusiast w/ all the options and it comes up as $29,200 or so before tax tag and title. So $29k is not an incredible deal but it's reasonable.

ok here's the final figures, 750 bucks on top of invoice. I think it was at 28,440, w/ tax and licensing it came out to be 31,254.87.(OTD) I thought it was a good deal considering i'm in cali but the sales manager was trying to push me way to hard. I told him from the beggining, "Don't BS me, just give it to me str8!" and what does he do start scribbling numbers here and there, yada yada yada, but i still think that 750 over invoice isn't too bad...
I was also offered 29k OTD for an an enthusiast model, and that's including the dealer fee or what ever they call it ($200-300). But I decided to have some more options and got me an Touring model.

Your price is fine, enjoy your new car.
Tax in MS is 5% for cars....
Still though I dont know what they go for in cali, but around here it seems like "a little high" not way overpriced, or crazy high.
It probably is just the difference in location as to why it strikes me as a little higher than a deal here.
