Default Interested in a Z.. what about buying w/ light damage?

Lets see if this link works..

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...194&advcd_on=n

2003 Z with light front damage, all options minus sunroof. Looks like it may just need front bumper, price is 15,900..

Damn good price, and if it just needs a bumper, that's easy..

What do you guys think? As long as it doesn't have a salvage title (which it shouldn't) or anything wrong with the frame, it should be good to go, right?

Just make sure the airbags didn't deploy for some reason.

There is no factory sunroof option in a Z...
It's a brickyard--that color has been discontinued so it *might* be worth a little more waaaaay in the future.. If it has factory leather it's probably a touring? How many miles on it? Sound like a decent deal as long as the damage is truely light

but if it needs a bumper it might also need a radiator and think to yourself if he knows it just needs a bumper why doesnt he just put one on and sell it? i would encourage you to inspect it personally as a front impact collision could easily be 5-10k in repairs.

For that price, I don't think it only needs a front bumper... inspect the car well first

samw1978 and FairladyZ are right. There is a problem here, and probably a MAJOR problem.

Second, the dealer seems to be a used car lot, another ‘red flag’. If he ASKING $15,900, he probably only has about $12,900 in the car. WAY TOO LOW.

Don’t walk, RUN away from this ‘deal’.

Good luck.

Awesome info.. Thanks for the heads up, I figured it'd be a good idea to get some more educated opinions then mine.

I will pass on this one.. There are a few others I'm looking at instead (that are fully intact. )
