also make sure that the invoice price they are quoting you is the real invoice. I've heard of some places claiming that their "invoice" price added their holdback, extra fees, etc. Buy a Consumer Reports buyer's guide for the 350Z, and it will tell you exactly what their invoice is.

The 2.0% deal is for 04's only I believe.

Mine is a 2004.5 DB Touring MT at 2.0%.

Good point. I will double-check the numbers before I sign anything.

With the roadsters you have to fight for several hours just to pay MSRP. All that work to pay full price? :-)

Eddie, if you bought a touring for example that was $32k invoice you're %8.5 below would mean you ordered a 05 touring for about $29k. Awesome deal man...

Interesting md, mine was 32,351 invoice for a 2004.5 but with side air bags. Side airbags was a requirement.

Are you getting the %2.0 financing deal?

That sounds like a pretty good deal! I don't have my Z yet, but the down payment is on it -- just waiting for it to arrive from Colorado.

I was in a bit of a shittier position with a totalled car and a desire to get a track in black - so I had a hell of a time finding it. Ended up faxing 24 dealership fleet managers and best offer I got was 100 over invoice plus shipping from colorado, 2% financing too (much better than the 11.95% i was being quoted from lending tree, or 8.95 from capitalone..WTF?! My credit is good too - don't get it :|)

I didn't try dealing with 05's since the tracks would take a while to get and I am out of a car. But with the 04's you can get some pretty damn good deals. One dealer offered 1000 under invoice for an 04 track - was something like ~30K. Only thing was it was in silver and didn't have the side airbags that I wanted (it was pretty bare bones in terms of options). So when all's said and done, check out some other dealerships but that doesn't sound like a bad deal at all - especially the financing on the 05!

Is the dealer Fitzgerald? If so, they are one price and there is nothing 'wrong' with the car. They are about the best in this area.

I would say that is an OK deal if.... you are willing to spend another $500 every 5,000 miles for new tires.

Even if a car is sold at invoice, the dealer still makes money so don't think your getting a great deal. Anyway you slice it their going to make money. It just a matter of how much.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a Super Black 05 Touring from Metro Nissan in Philly for $500 over invoice and 2% financing. Ardmore Nissan offered $100 below invoice on the 05, but never gave me a straight answer on the financing APR. Haven't got the car yet cause they sold the one I test drove. Now I need to find someone to put clear bra on it. Any recommendation in the Philly/Delaware region?

My advice is to wait until 100% sure that the feathering is not happening on the 2005's.

Curious myself . . . especially for an 05. At that price everyone would own one.

I'm a finance manager for a Nissan Dealer and I promise you guys you can't get 2% on 05's, NMAC will never offer that unitl all the 04's are gone. 05's aren't even on the rate sheet from NMAC yet. We still have an 04 on the lot which has 2% with great credit.
