Default Claybar & Zaino question

Hey all,

I have about 4 layers of Zaino on and want to Claybar my Z again. I did it prior to applying the Zaino.

Do I have to take the Zaino off first?

Also, since you guys know a lot about getting scrathes out, the plastic (lexan) display on my Motorola V600 (cell phone) is all scrathed up. Do you think any products made for cars would be able to get the scratches out?

Thanks, Richard

No you don't want to remove your Zaino, in fact, light claying won't remove it either.

Did you clay before the 4 layers? How long ago? You shouldn't need to and don't want to clay too often. Once a year maybe.

Not sure about using auto-polishes on clear plastics, it might fog or haze them. You could make it worse.

You can claybar as much as needed, depends on the quality of the paint, smoothness, ect. If it feels rough after a nice wash, then claybarring is recommended. The key of course is LUBRICATION,

GL with your Detailing!
