Default Questions on detailing from a newbie...

I'm a proud new SB Z Roadster owner and have really learned a lot by visiting this site prior to buying my new baby. I'll post some pics in the appropriate area after it gets some TLC. With that, I have a few questions on detailing.

What is the best way to clean the area that the top goes under when down. How do you keep water from getting into the interior of the vehicle when washing this area? A bucket of water and careful attention seems to be the only way, but I'm sure some of you have some tips and tricks that I can take advantage of...

Is there any special procedures to know when Zainoing my Z if I have a clear bra on the vehicle. Masking the edges, etc?

I've got my Zaino kit on its way, along with some dftowels, and was hoping someone also might be able to tell me where to get the following locally.

303 Covertible Top Protectant and Cleaner
303 Aerospace Protectant
Invisible Glass

Thanks to all in advance - I look forward to being a productive member of this community once I get me some lurnins....

303 is available at some stores, but online at 303products.com

The Aerospace Protectant is NOT for the Roadster top. We have fabric tops. Use the 303 Fabric Guard. Aerospace Protectant is for vinyl.

You can check out the store at autopia.org for those items. That forum can also tell you a lot about detailing.
I would probably use painters tape to mask off the edge prior to applying Zaino. My ex didn't do this to her C5 with the clear bra and now there's wax residue under the edges. No matter how careful you are if you don't tape it off you will have wax under there.

I found 303 Aero at a local hardware store. If you check the 303 site they list by zip who has it available.

I also saw Stoner's Invisible Glass at both AutoZone and O'Reilly's.

Invisible Glass is now at my local Walmart so check yours by the car waxes. You might want to try the Raggtopp Cleaner and Protectant, it is recommended by www.haartz.com who makes most of the top materials for many makes of cars..........
