Anyone know what will take wax off a convertible top. That friggin' NXT wax is tought to get out. I was waxing and hit a small spot by accident.

well...I tried Nail Polish remover (EEEKKKKKK )and...it came off. I used an old tooth brush and worked the brush in a bit. I rinsed the area with cool water and it was gone.

I tried all types of cleaners and this is the first thing that worked. It was only a small area and I ran a pre-test before I did the bigger spot.

I am just wondering if there is any reason you are waxing your car with the top up? Whenever I wax my car I put the top down so I can also wax the tonneu cover.

What ragtop cleaner did you use and how did you like it? I know I should be treating my top but I havn't used anything to protect or clean my top yet.

+1 on waxing with the top down. Why make the job tougher? Also, you can stop the drop of the top midway and get at those hard to reach spots, then wax the cool-looking lid @ the same time. If you use a Porter-Cable, watch out for slinging polish and wax, if you use a liquid.
