Default DF Towels and proper cleaning

Well I really thought the DF towels were causing the scratches on my Roadster and on a blank CD that I tested today.

Yes I did get scratches all over my CD but it wasn't DF Towel's fault. It was mine.

I was not cleaning and storing them properly.

I am doing the cleaning process all wrong, thats why I have scratches.

1. I am washing them with cold water not hot water and using Woolite instead of a liquid detergent. Apparently the Woolite and cold water is not getting the particles out.

And I am leaving them in my garage instead of in a container. If my Z collects dust after a few days, I wonder what settles on the towels,

So for folks doing what I am doing, STOP, your doing it all wrong like ME!

BTW, I am getting my Roadster professionally detailed in a few weeks. Maybe I can be scratch/swirl free now that I know what I am doing,

I apologize to DF Towel for this issue. Now will you send me a free DF Towel, JK,

Charles

I keep all my microfiber towels in 2 gal. Ziploc bags after drying. Also, before you use one and several times while using it, you should shake or "pop" the towel to cause any dust particles that might be in them to fall out.
