Cool, so I can skip the Dawn process as long as I have Z-2/Z-5 on? Perfect, then all I need to do is wash/dry and get started with the new Z-PC.

Hey Kevin do you use a spray bottle with water to make the buffing easier? When do you apply the mist of water? I am assuming before you buff so no dust or polish particles go flying?

Not yet. My order won't even arrive until the 21st. So hopefully somebody who lives closer will be able to do a user review.

That's like saying Michael Jordan has done a user review on Hanes.

I have 94 layers of Zaino on right now. When I hit 100, we'll throw a party, commorate the event with a moment of silence and then I will go out and buy a PC and get some of this stuff.

Then it'll be STRIP OFF and START ALL OVER!

You don't need to strip the Zaino off according to their website.

When you use it, it will strip off your old layers. At least that's what Sal told me.

I'm gonna give this a go next week! Hopefully the weather will cooperate. I've got some swirls that the 3M won't take care of.

ANY abrasive product.....3M Swirl Remover, Menzerna Polishes, Zaino Z-PC, Poorboys SSR, etc.....will strip the Zaino sealant off. Clay will also remove some of the Zaino.

Are the swirls something that the 3M won't take out? Or is the 3M causing its own swirls?

I found on a black Acura that the 3M swirl remover created its own micro-marring that only Menzerna Final Polish II would remove.
I don't have my Z-PC yet so I don't have anything to compare to yet

3m lessened the swirls, but it wouldn't remove them no matter how hard I tried.

If you were using the swirl remover #3009 you might try stepping up to the rubbing compound which is #3002
