Default Glares

Not sure off the exact way to describe them but they are mostly on the side of my SB. Its kind of like glare form the sunshine in wide lines going verticaly on the side of my car. There really annoying looking and ive never seen another black car with them. Any ideas what they are and how to get rid of them? Thanks

Does it look like a spider web? A series of concentric rings that look like fine threads?

If so, then you have the dreaded swirls. The best way to remove them is with a Porter-Cable Random Orbit Polisher/Buffer like the PC-7424. That, some foam polishing pads and some 3-M Swirl Mark Remover will do the trick.

If that's not what you're seeing, do you have a digi-camera you can photograph and post a pic here?

They could also be buffer holograms from the dealer when the car was new.
