If you are using a different wax, strip it wih Dawn dish soap and water of course, then claybar, then re-wash with regular soap.

If you are using the same wax, the claybar process will be fine. Make sure you clay while the car is wet and have plenty of lube, and re-wash afterwards! Man that sounds XXX,

And get about 2 coats of wax on it after the clay and 1 or 2 coats of polish. That thing will shine like you wont believe

Having tried Zaino in the past myself... I could not agree more. I like the way the NXT makes silverstone color pop out more.. rather than flatten the color out and make it like a mirror.

There's no need to use dishsoap before claying....just make sure the finish is clean. The claybar will remove waxes/sealants depending on how many times you go over the surface with it. If you are using two different natural based waxes it really does not matter if the prior wax is completely off or not....they will still bond to each other. It is just synthetic sealants that don't like to bond to anything but bare paint and themselves.
