The best thing to CLEAN it with is good ol' water. The best thing to PROTECT it with is 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Whatever you choose to use, never spray it directly on the interior panels. It will give it a blotchy appearance because of the dimpled surface. Spray it on a cloth then rub the cloth on the panels.

I'd only use soap if I was trying to remove a tough stain or grease. Water is one of the best solvents and it won't leave a film like soap does.

I've not been able to find this 303 aerospace cleaner anywhere... Been to pepboys, wall mart, etc etc...

Is this the holy grail of cleaners that just can't be bought off the shelf like zaino?

??!!

Go to the page:

http://www.303products.com/main.php?...retailersearch

enter your Zip Code then click on Search and you'll get a list of the nearest retail outlets. I get mine from the only place in town that stocks it: Ace Hardware - go figure.

I wouldn't put any protectant on the doors, they'll look like crap. I tried putting 303 protectant on the doors (sprayed on the towel, not directly on the doors) and I don't like the results....bLoTcHeY

I did get good results with 303 on the rest of the interior though.

I'd just stick with water to keep the doors clean and 303 the rest.

What about to remove scuffs? This interior seems to scuff easily...

You probably put it on too heavy. I usually spray a small towel then fold it in half and rub the wet "face" together to make sure it gets spread around. Then I briskly rub it around the doors working it over a large area.

If you wet the towel too much, as soon as it touches the door the extra liquid will blotch that spot.

mild solution of a degreaser of your choice (simple green + h20) and a micro fiber towel
to clean all surfaces...dash and other surfaces meguairs natural shine...goes on shiny but dries verrry matte - giving dash a slightly "enriched" look...door panels meguairs interior quick detailer...helps clean and protect w/NO splotchiness

Some camping stores carry the 303 product line - check by the "boating section" where they have kayaks, etc.
