Professional Detailing Help !! Please
Please help! I narrowed it down to these products, however, I'm stuck here. Please, if anyone has any experience w/ these, post your results.
1: Mothers Phase 1, 2 and 3
2: Blackfire new car kit
3: 3m products..
----
I've read zymol and zaino and just to much hassle to apply and remove, I know there is alot of discussion going on about zaino, but whatever.
HELP!
--
What's better to use, paste or liquid ?
Which offers better protection?
Synthetics or Canauba ( did I spell this wrong? )
--
Any info at all is greatly appreciated..

I don't want to change your mind or anything but I just wanted to say that Zaino really is NOT "a hassle" to use. You read posts from Zaino Maniacs like me that make it LOOK like a hassle since we use so much of it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I have 20 layers of Zaino on my car and it looks great.
After I put on the FIRST layer of Zaino on my car, it STILL looked great. You don't HAVE to do what we do (unless you become addicted like me!)

Also, Zymol really isn't that hard... one step finish. =) I've been using that but decided that Blackfire was the way to go.
Prior to this weekend, it has been years since I detailed my own car. With all the Zaino nuts on this board, they convinced me to try instead of forking over $200 for someone to do it professionally.
It really isn't a huge hassle. I even clayed the car and that was a lot easier then I thought. And the car looks great.

Took delivery of my Redline track model in October and got the new car kit not long after that. After washing, claying the paint and applying the polish, my 350Z really glowed. Put some protectant on and it has really stood the test of time!
I wash it each week and Blackfire continues to provide a deep, rich shine, so I'd give it the thumbs up!
P.S. Follow the directions and there's plenty for several cars- I did my wife's Maxima and my friend's M3 and Accord.

Zaino is easier to apply and remove than anything I've used in over 30 years. The claying can be a little more time consuming, an hour or two, BUT that isn't even a Zaino thing, it should be done regardless of the product you plan to use, IF you want the best results.
First of all, what color is your car? There is a difference in finishes when you have a light car opposed to a dark color.
If black, or dark color, the Blackfire is absolutely the best look. It finishes like a carnauba, but gives the life of a synthetic (or polymer), and that's a good thing for those cold weather climates. Follow the instructions, put it on thin, let it sit, and remove it with microfiber. Nothing better!
If you want a carnauba, go with Pinnacle Souveran or P21S Carnauba. Both are paste.
If a lighter color, chose your weapon! I've used Zaino on super black and don't like the results. But, it is a polymer, so I "assume" is will give you a bright shine on the light color. I've used Pinnacle Paste Glaz on silver/gray and it was awesome.
CAR COLOR MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!!!!
Call properautocare and talk to them about the differences in waxes, or read their web site. They are the experts in this field.
