Unhappy Help! how do I get the bird doo off!

I got the bird dropping off the car with in the hour but there is still faint remenence off the stuff on the black paint! Its visible only at the correct angle, but its on there pretty good. I used warm water with a drop of Meguire's wash in it and it is still there! I am afriad to rub it too hard and scratch the paint. What should I use to get it off?? THANKS!!

While the car is clean, try these in this order:

1. a detailer spray
2. clay bar
3. your regular wax or polish
4. if all that fails, try a mild polishing compound like 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009 and then follow up with your regular wax/polish

don't know about getting rid of the spot but for future use, have a bottle of salt free soda water with you. when the wing flapping annoyances drop a load on you again, take the soda water, shake, and spray off asap. This will help to prevent bake on.

Sorry i couldn't help with the post prob.

The next question is how to prevent it.

I keep firearms with me. If a bird has the audacity to bomb my car, he will DIE. If a bird looks at me sideways, he will DIE. If a bird chirps at me in the wrong tone, he will DIE. If a bird is flipped at me while driving. . . well you get the picture.

Just kidding. I do hate bird poop though.

Some folks put extra coats of Zaino on to specifically help protect from our feathery friends "stuff". Always best to get it off ASAP but at least the Zaino will protect the paint alot longer than most anything else will, but with what some of these birds eat, it will eat through anything over time.

ABC - a chemical acid neutrilization system.
This will get embedded bird stains out of your paint. Perhaps the only thing.

www.autoint.com - click on catalog/store, then neutrilization system.
