Default weather strip moisturizing>???

Might be kinda of a wierd question, but has anyone ever done this?? I know when I had my honda, they always used to tell me to do this 2 times a year, for optimal climate preservation and cabin quiteness.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's perfect for any type of plastic, vinyl or rubber.
