Default Rejex...this stuff is good!

So after not paying the $400 my dealer wanted for some sort of paint/uphostery protectant, I came across this add for Rejex....made by corrosionx. $19 for a bottle at their website. Well, I said what the heck and ordered some. I "made" my son use it on his '06 Scion before I tried it on the Z. This stuff is the $hit. It goes on REAL easy and comes off REAL easy. You HAVE to follow the instructions about not putting it in the elements (sun/rain/etc.) for 12 hours afterwards...and you don't want to put it on in the sun...trust me. But my son and I have had a single coat on our cars for about 2 months now and both vehicles get washed about once every 8-10 days...daily drivers, both....and this stuff still beads, shines and protects just like when it was first put on. Bugs and other road trash wipe right off. This product is for real.
Just thought I'd pass it on.

I have had the same results with Autoglym. Goes on easy, comes off easy and protects/beads!

After scanning though the posts about Rejex on Autopia, the general consensus seems to be that it does a great job of beading water and seems to hold up pretty well. Unfortunately, it's nothing spectacular as far as shine goes.

Sounds like it's great if you're lazy and only want to apply every couple of months and you don't really care what it looks like.

Actually, the reflective shine is as good as anything else I've ever used...and that includes a lot of "high end" waxes and polishes. The Florida sun will take some of the shine off of ANY product in short order. This product, regardless of effort, is as good as anything else out there. When you can simply WIPE BUGS OFF after 3 weeks after a single application....that's a true test. If you've never seen our "Love Bug" season, you can't relate. No, I don't show my car...it's a daily driver...but I've had a lot of comments on both the car and the shine....works for me.

Take care.

Maybe any wax based products. Most sythetics are resistant to the temperature.
