A couple of weeks ago I put the car in the garage for the winter but didn't get a chance to wash it before a snow storm. I drove it for a couple of days in wet weather just before so it was a real mess. Couldn't leave it like that all winter so today now that it's almost forty and the hose thawed out my wife and I just washed it. Her in her snow clothes and me in shorts sneakers and a Hawian shirt.
i just washed mine. temp is about 34 with a 15mph wind. the sun is shining too, lol. i couldn't dry the car fast enough before the water froze on it. had the start the car and turn all defrosters and heat up inside and was able to dry most of it, hahaha. now the icy driveway thing. oh well looks like i'm driving the truck again today.
I drove it for a couple of days in wet weather....
Your first mistake, never drive your baby in wet weather.
BTW, mecinoid, ditto, I keep the baby dry, clean, and in a climate controlled garage. It's 12 degrees out today, it snowed a few inches Saturday, but my baby is clean and warm.
That's awsome your wife would get out their with you... Your a lucky man
+1
The other day I spent like 3 hours washing and waxing my Z before I covered it. It was like 5 degrees out, but I was doing that on the garage. Still it was cold in there, and my girlfriend gets mad because I pay so much attention to my car. She says I'm obsessed. I say Damn Right!
LOL. I hand washed the car to day (41 degrees) wearing Gortex from head-to-toe and rubber gloves. A guy has to do what he has to do.
dang, i cant beleive its colder down here than it is there... i also washed mine(36 degrees with ~10mph winds) in jeans and a regular long sleeve t-shirt. with hot water of course
but im hot natured, i was still sweating when i got done,
