I have no idea if it's available in stores or not, but Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity cleaner does wonders on my wheels. Spray it on the wheels, let it sit for 5 minutes, a light scrubbing if needed with a wheel brush, and then rinse. For the tire dressing, I use 303 Aerospace protectant. Why aren't you using online shopping as an option - you may be cutting yourself short!?

Meguiar's Hot Wheel spray on spray off. Works pretty well. It helps alot when you want to clean the hard to clean areas.

I like to keep it simple: Dawn, bucket of water and a large synthetic sponge. Great thing about the Touring 18" wheels, I can reach in with my sponge and wash the inside of the wheels :-)

Hey, Dawn is OK as long as you wax your car every time you wash it.

Actually its not, as it does more harm than just strip wax.

Keep it simple, use the car wash soap you use to wash the car with some cotton towel go over every corner of the wheel (In my case I have the 18" wheels) so its easy to stick my hand even inside walls of the wheel, clean it and dry it...

I also use Wheel Wax after its dry, this will make it easy to keep the dust break to stick in the wheel, make it easy to clean it next time...

For the tire I use Eimann Gel Tire, not too much..last about a week or so....

For my wheels I love Simple Green Automotive I've used wheel cleaners before but alot of them have acids in them that will make the finish fade away, Especially Eagle One. Simple Green for me is the best I've ever used and works great on removing dirt.

Has anyone used Simple Green Automotive before?

My boss is a private pilot and he told me that Simple Green has been banned by the FAA for use on airplanes because it is too caustic. Anyone that has used it to clean their planes were told to re-clean them with a akaline solution to neutralize the residue left by Simple Green.

Personally I can't stand the smell so I'd never use it anyway.

Sometimes I just use water and atowle to clean the rims or Windex. Soap and water on the tires then I Black Magic them have been doing this for years no problems yet.

This myth keeps coming up. The FAA has never said any such thing. That doesn't mean that Simple Green is good for airplanes, but the FAA actually does very little regulation of owner performed maintenance on light GA (General Aviation) aircraft beyond telling you what you can't do at all and must have a mechanic do.
Now, the seed of this story is that about 6 or 7 years ago the Air Force did some corrosion testing and found the Possibility that Simple Green, if left in the tiny crevices and seams of airplane skin sections Might cause some corrosion where the alclad skins are holding the stuff in for weeks at a time. These are the same people who are keeping B52s flying until 2035 so they are a little serious about possible corrosion. In any case, I wouldn't choose Simple Green for wheel cleaning, Eimann Fabrik is the primo choice. I just felt the need to set the record straight.

I've had great luck with Eagle One "A to Z" wheel cleaner. On my track wheels I haven't had to put a brush to them yet, not even on the inside. I wash the car once a week. Spray it on the wheels, the Brembos and the tires. Let it sit 30 seconds and wash it off. When I dry the wheels there is ZERO residue or brake dust. PERFECTION!

Dont use the Eagle One stuff all the time. I used the same stuff on my 19" OZ wheels I had on a different car and the finish on my rims were fading!!!!!!!! I found out that Eagle One uses alot of acids in their wheel cleaners. Since then I've always used Simple Green Automotive with no problems.....

just my .02c

Your .02c is/was correct. They may have since then (when you last used it) changed their formula. I know the guys at Eagle One Corporate and they recommended that I use the Aluminum Wheel cleaner previously because it was the least caustic, and wouldn't damage the zinc coating on my aftermarket brake rotors. In the last year or so they have since made the A to Z cleaner with a lower acid content. If you want more info I can get it. If Simple Green is working for you...cool. Thanks for the concern.
