Pressure wash engine bay??

If you make sure no water gets on an electrical components or in the intake you should be fine. But you'd be better off just using an engine cleaner anyway, plus its easier than using a high pressure power washer.

Well after the T-Netics install my engine bay is filthy and I want it cleaner.
O I love my UTEC I am getting a map switch put in and 3 more maps for daily driver, spirited driving, and 110 octane for the track.

to be safe, you can lower hte pressure and cover key eletrical components, but our detailer pressure washed hundreds of engines over the years and never had an issue, obviously, if you ahvea n exposted cone intake, cover that...but engines are sealed very well, more so than peoplethink. i would say you dont even need a pressure washer, jsut a garden variety hose will be fine

2. Ex GF toothbrush and give it back to her after ur done..its nice to return back her stuff..scrub that shiet down...
3. HOES...yes hoes it down...(lol)
4. Air Hoes and Air dry ur engine bay..only if you have a compressor..
5. and u got urself a bling bling engine bay

I always wondered about ways to clean the engine bay, but more on the lines of a portable Steam Shark unit like the ones sold at Sears. It uses a fine mist of hot steam to clean everything. Has anyone tried this before?

I have and the results were "so,so".....
Degreecing agent, let sit for 10-15 mins, rinse with garden hose. Repeat if nessairy....

after you drive it arround awhile it attracts all the dust and makes it worse than b4!
i do this often to clean the engine bay out...and i dont know why the car stops running for a few days...just kidding! i do this and it works well...just be careful where u spray...
