ok fellas, just got my car and i need to detail it....any advice?
hey everyone. I just got my car. its a 2003 track 350z. its the brickyard color. it has some swirl marks from the past owner. this genius rarely drove it b/c it was too small for him and he rarely cleaned it. i'm positive the ******* used the drive thru car washes to clean it. anyways i need my baby to sparkle like a diamond so i am coming to you guys for advice. what should i buy, what should i use, etc...all that good stuff. also i would really like to try and get rid of the swirl marks or try to minimize them as much as possible. any info on what to use? thanks for all the help and i'll be on this site pretty much everyday so get used to my annoying questions lol. thanks in advance. also if you can let me know what store carries the products you recommend, i would really appreciate it.

all zaino products are excellent(anyone on here will tell you so-http://www.zainostore.com/
303 aerospace protectant for the interior-this is the best interior protectant I've found http://www.303products.com/main.php?...etailerssearch
use only microfiber towels-you should be able to get this nearly anywhere these days. I get mine from sam's club.
use an electric blower to dry-this is the best tip I've learned on this board
as for removing the swirls I'm not the expert, I'm sure other folks will chime in. however I would suggest using the search function to find what you are looking for as most often these topics have been thoughroughly discussed before. oh and welcome to the forum.

+1 on Zaino products. Might just want to go to the Zaino site and get their "Kit". You might also want to consider "claying". Not sure if "clay bar" is part of the kit, but it is available on their site. If your leather needs cleaning, get Zaino's "Cleaner/Conditioner" + "Leather in a Bottle".
+1 on 303 Aeospace Protectant and drying with electric blower.
As for towels, I would look at www.dftowel.com for polish application/removal towels and www.pakshak.com or www.mequiars.com for drying towels. Might also want to look at www.autopia-carcare.com for tips and products.
