Default Got a Clear Bra,too late to zaino?

I got the dealer "perma plate" clearcoat and already got a clear bra. Should I still zaino? is the bra line going to contrast even more? what happens down the road after i remove the bra?

Basically, I got the clearcoat from the dealer. I also got a clear bra put on already.

If I Zaino, will it worsen the contrast between the bra and the rest of the car?

Definately polish all of the car, including the clear bra areas. The film must be frequently polished and protected or it can yellow, craze and generally go bad. Any polish will add protection, although Plexus is the most recommended product. Plexus is a plastic polish and protector sold for plastic windows on aircraft and motorcycle windshields. Good stuff. Most motorcycle shops have it.

By all means use Zaino, I have Clear Bra also use Zanio cleaner then polish with plastic cleaner will make the car shine. I have 50 coats on now and the area of the Bra still looks as good as the rest of the car with Zaino product.

Mine is 04 Roadster Chrome Silver, and the darker the color the better the looks with Zaino.

beware when you wax and claybar. bits of wax and clay can get stuck in the line. it stood out terribly on my black coupe. needless to say i ripped it off the other day. it served me well for the 18 months that i had it.

I found that using alchole after waxing along the bra line that the wax build up and clay bar build up is not a problem and the alchole doesn't hurt the wax. just use a real soft tooth brush or Q-tip, I've had my bra on since August 2003 and it still looks great.

never too late to zaino.. had clear bra from the beginning.. just be careful at the edges so the wax dont get built up.. the clearbra does shine slightly different when u r up close (i.e. less than 3 ft).. but from a car length, it is not noticable...

I am also looking into getting a clear bra since I do alot of freeway driving. I wanted to know if I should wax before getting it put on or wait will after. Also if later on I remove it, will the parts not covered by the bra be more faded than that which was covered. I just want the best solution to paint damage. Thanks guys, and yes I did search (how I found this thread)

I will be getting the clear bra for my magnetic black, should i use clay bar before getting it installed? i've read that you shouldn't wax or polish the front before the clear bra because it woun't stick well? thanks for the advice.

You don't need to do any type of prepping. Your installer would take care of the cleaning.

Your paint will fade at an even rate as the film does allow UVs to penetrate. One thing to keep in mind is the difference will be seen if the uncovered portions are not maintained or if it's neglected, then you'll see the difference.
