Default Is NXT a cleaner wax?

Right now I have a little bit of 3M™ 39006 Wax left. It is a cleaner wax, and I really really like it. Works very well and lasts a loong time.

Anyways I also bought some NXT Spray Wax (regret not getting the Liquid Wax... will get it soon)

My question is. If I wax it with the 3M™ 39006 cleaner wax. Can i layer the NXT spray wax over it? Some poeple say that the NXT is a cleaner wax and will strip off the layers of wax I have.

Is this true?

Nothing on the bottle indicates that NXT is a cleaner-wax. You should be fine to layer the waxes.

not sure about the NXT spray wax but the regular NXT wax has mild cleaners in it.. you cannot layer it on like Zaino..

Read some good comparison reviews here.. and it mentions it has cleaning properties:

http://forums.roadfly.com/forums/det...5256389&page=1

on the RX8 forums someone called Meguiar's to ask them if you could layer it like Zaino.. the reply was that after about 3 layers it would do nothing more for you because NXT has mild cleaners in it taking off older layers...

EDIT: more proof from Meguiars online:
