Default Washing Z for a newbie

OK, I need some advice. Basically, I need to know everything about washing My Z. I have been delaying, but I must wash it now. It has been two weeks since I got it. I used to have a Wrangler so I never worried about this.

Please lay it out for me. What do I need to but to protect my Z. Wash and Dry? I have a Super Black Z, so I am a little nervous. Thanks for all the help.

Default well...

Make sure you use only soft, non abrasive towels, and visit http://www.zainobros.com for the Wash/Wax of Choice.

Just don't rub too hard, and you won't mess the paint up.. Use the Zaino for protection.

The other threads here should assist you in your Zaino selection.

Default Hey Wood, you in Miami?!

Me too.

I just meet our Zaino dealer for south florida, Ed. He is great. We purchased (me and some friends with other, "lesser" cars) Zaino products.

I am about to wash mine for the first time myself. I was worried about the work on the Zaino, but Ed explained a lot and made it simple.

I bought : Clay bar, Z1, Z2 and soak/wash.

Simple :

1) Wash car with Dawn dishwasher liquid
2) apply clay bar (he explained well)
3) Apply Z1
4) Apply Z2 (spread, don't rub in, thin, not too thick)
5) let it dry
6) buff
7) enjoy...

Talking Just did it this PM. Perfect!

Started at about 11AM, got done by 4PM or so.

I had the car two weeks and had not washed it. So, internse wash with Dawn, dry up. Then took the time to clean each wheel, spent about 30 mins on that.

After that, went over it with the clay bar.

Rinse and dry. Applied Z1. Not easy to see where you have it on or not, it is very transparent when it goes on. Went over the whole car. Then, applied Z2. More "milky", it is easier to see where you have it on. All over the car.

Waited from 2:15 to 3: 25 for dry.

Buffed until 4PM.

And...

Check my album. I just loaded pics... (click below on the www button)

That looks great slaponte.

I love my Z, it is so much fun. Coldplay sounds great in it. I just went to see them the other day in Miami and they put on a killer show. Make sure that you check them out when they come near you.

Wooderson -

that is fantastic to know! I have seen them twice already, once in Los Angeles and once in Vegas. I have a bunch of plans for the sound system so that it sounds even better, but knowing that it is kickin right off the lot is great.

see you soon,
jack
